Man Exposes Himself on Broad Street Line Subway: Cops

Woman claims man sat next to her and began inappropriately touching himself

Philadelphia Police asked for the public’s help Tuesday to identify a man they say exposed himself to a woman on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line subway on Halloween.

The unidentified victim, 20, told police the man sat next her between the Fern Rock Transportation Center and Olney Station, exposed himself and proceeded to inappropriately touch himself.

The victim says it wasn’t the first time the same man assaulted her while she was on the subway.

Police described the suspect as a 20-year-old black male between 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-7-inches tall with a dark complexion and braids. He was wearing a dark-colored Nike sweatshirt, dark pants and brown shoes and appeared to be listening to an MP3 player in video released by Philadelphia Police.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect should contact Philly Police Special Victims Unit at 215-686-3251 or submit a tip anonymously by calling 215-686-8477, texting “PPD TIP” to 773847 or online.
