SEPTA Bus Struck in West Philly Shooting

One person was injured after being hit by glass during the shooting.

Police are investigating a shooting in West Philadelphia that left passengers on a SEPTA bus rattled.

A SEPTA Route G bus was struck by at least two bullets around 1:45 this morning as it headed north on 56th Street.

Shortly after the shooting, SEPTA officials told NBC10 that the Route G bus was not the intended target, but that it was merely struck while driving by.

One person was injured by glass that broke during the shooting. The victim was treated at the scene.

Police are investigating to work out the details of the shooting. So far, they have no suspects.
