Rutgers Student Admits Fondling Sleeping Roommate, Videotaping Incident

Under a plea agreement entered Monday and made public Tuesday, 20-year-old Minjin Oh could face up to 364 days in jail

A Rutgers student has admitted having unwanted sexual contact with his sleeping roommate and capturing video of what happened on his cell phone.
Under a plea agreement entered Monday and made public Tuesday, 20-year-old Minjin Oh could face up to 364 days in jail.

Authorities say he admitted to fondling his male roommate April 6, 2010.

His lawyer says that he deleted the video of the action without showing it to anyone.

The act happened about five months before a more notorious case in which Rutgers student Dharun Ravi used a webcam to view his roommate's intimate dorm-room encounter with another man.

Ravi was convicted in March of 15 criminal counts and faces up to 10 years in state prison when he's sentenced next month. His roommate, Tyler Clementi, committed suicide.
