7 Injured, 1 Critical in Row Home Fire

February 5, 2012: Three firefighters and four civilians were injured when a row home on 19th Street caught fire in Philadelphia.

Fire officials say a blaze in a North Philadelphia row home injured seven people, including three firefighters, one critically.

The fire engulfed a three-story home in the 1600 block of 19th Street in Philadelphia around 6 a.m. It took about an hour to get under control

One firefighter has been taken to a hospital unit in critical but stable condition. Two other firefighters are reported to be in stable condition.

Firefighters helped two people from the building while two others escaped on their own, investigators say.   All four had minor injuries and were treated at Hahnemann University Hospital early Sunday morning.

.Investigators were working to figure out what cause the fire.
