Traffic Lights Go Out on Roosevelt Boulevard

A lack of working lights caused traffic troubles at one of Philadelphia’s busiest intersections Monday morning.

The traffic signals stopped working overnight where the Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. Route 1) intersects with Grant Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

Traffic could move north/south on the Boulevard but Philadelphia Police blocked east/west traffic.

The lights were fixed and traffic began moving normally again around 4:45 a.m.
