Robbers Target Convenience Store: Cops

Philadelphia Police are searching for three men who they say robbed a convenience store in the Northwood section of the city.

Philadelphia Police are searching for three men who they say robbed a convenience store in the Northwood section of the city.

On September 4, at 6:40 p.m., police say a four door Honda Civic stopped on the 1200 block of Harrison Street. Two men exited the car and entered a convenience store on the 1300 block of Fillmore Street, according to investigators. Police say one of the suspects was armed with a gun.

Once inside the store, the first suspect remained in the back while the armed suspect approached the counter and demanded money as well as cigarettes, according to police. Police say both men then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off with the third suspect toward Harrison Street.

The first suspect is described as a dark skinned black male standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on front and light-colored blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a dark skinned black male standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored blue jeans.

Police have not released a description of the third suspect.
