Driver Shoots Car During Road Rage on I-95 in Bensalem Township, Police Say

Police are searching for a driver accused of shooting another man’s car during a road rage incident on I-95.

Police say the victim, a 32-year-old Philadelphia man, was driving on Street Road and the Route 13 ramp in Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania, Friday at 5:30 p.m.

As the man drove, he was nearly struck by a gray, 2015 Hyundai Sonata, police said. The man then yelled at the driver, identified by police as Kalief Armstrong, 30, of Philadelphia. Words were then exchanged between the two men, according to investigators.

The 32-year-old man then drove onto I-95 south and was traveling in the middle lane. He then spotted Armstrong in the left lane approaching his vehicle, police said.

The 32-year-old man told police Armstrong was waving something. He then heard a loud gunshot noise and Armstrong then sped away. The man believed Armstrong took the Academy Road exit, according to investigators.

The 32-year-old man then pulled over to a safe location and spotted a bullet hole on his driver side rear door close to the front door.

Police say Armstrong is driving a gray, 2015 Hyundai Sonata with the Pennsylvania registration KMV-9744. Police have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
