A Delaware County school school will be open Tuesday after a threat posted to social media about the school was found to be unsubstantiated but that doesn't mean police won't be extra diligent to protect students.

Per police:

"...This threat has been deemed unsubstantiated, however the Ridley Park Police will be at the school on Tuesday and along with the School District will monitor all activity at the school throughout the day. At this time we have no further information. Anyone with information about this very serious situation is asked to contact the Ridley Park Police immediately."

Police said they were working with the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division to investigate the threat.
