Reporter Na'eem Douglas to Join NBC10 Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA โ€“ June 4, 2013 โ€“ NBC10 Philadelphia announced today that Naโ€™eem Douglas will be joining the station as a reporter starting June 17. Douglas joins NBC10 from News 12 Brooklyn in New York, where he has been a reporter and fill-in anchor since 2007.

Prior to his position at News 12, Douglas was a reporter with ABC affiliate WMDT 47 in Salisbury, Maryland.
 
The addition of Douglas is the latest in a series of investments NBC10 has made recently, which include the addition of SKYFORCE10, station fleet enhancements, and increased staff. Douglas is the fourth new journalist to be added to the stationโ€™s roster since March by NBC10 Vice President of News Anzio Williams.
 
โ€œOur daily mission is to deliver breaking news and information to our viewers, and Naโ€™eem will play a big part in that,โ€ said Williams.
 
A native of Philadelphia, Douglas attended Franklin Learning Center and was once a production assistant at NBC10. He attended Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in communications. He also interned as a law clerk for the Department of Justice Office for Civil Rights in Washington, D.C.
