Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Rehoboth Beach Econolodge Saturday morning.
Investigators say that the robbery took place at around 4:15 a.m., when a man forced his way behind the motel's front desk, telling the 60-year-old clerk that he had a weapon. The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.
Investigators describe the suspect as a black man in his 20s, standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt.
