You can still give the gift of green by recycling your Christmas tree.

The holiday season is officially behind us, so if you still need to get rid of your Christmas tree, Friends of Schuylkill River Park is offering tree service 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday.
You can drop them off at the Markward Playground at Taney at Pine Street, just west of 26th Street.
The remains will be turned into mulch to be used by local organizations.
Organizers are asking for a $5 donation.
