Real Cop or Not?

Police uniforms stolen from a N.J. dry cleaner

A break-in at a South Jersey dry cleaner is raising more concern than usual.

That's because the burglar's haul includes parts of police uniforms.

The break-in happened at Cook's Cleaners in Stow Creek Township earlier this month.

The thief made off with pieces of uniforms belonging to New Jersey State Troopers and Salem County Corrections Officers.

Officials say they're not aware of anyone trying to impersonate an officer using the stolen uniforms.

But if you have questions about anyone claiming to be a New Jersey Trooper, call 9-1-1.
