Guinea Pigs, Calf, 300 Rabbits Found at New Jersey Home

Guinea pigs, a calf and about 300 rabbits have been found at a New Jersey home, authorities say.

The New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals made the discovery Friday at the Bethlehem home, according to MyCentralJersey.com. Officials say 200 rabbits were found outside in cages full of feces and about 100 more were found inside the home.

The guinea pigs were found in the home along with a calf in the basement.

All of the animals have been signed over to the NJSPCA.

Charges have not yet been filed.
