West Chester-based QVC to Launch Network Dedicated to Selling Beauty Products

Home shopping television network QVC said it will launch Beauty iQ, a multiplatform network devoted exclusively to selling beauty products.

Within a month of going live on Oct. 31, the West Chester-based company said its new network will be viewed in 40 million U.S. homes through distributors including DirecTV, U-verse, Dish and Roku.

It will feature 24/7 programming, including live programming five nights a week — Wednesday through Sunday — from 8:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. eastern standard time, and repeated immediately after for the West Coast audience.

In addition to television, Beauty iQ viewers can also shop on BeautyiQ.com, QVC.com, on the QVC mobile app and social channels including Facebook and Instagram.

“We’ve listened to our customers and fans, and we know beauty is intrinsic to their lives,” QVC President and CEO Mike George said in a statement. “So we’re engaging with them on all the platforms they love and providing a new experience that caters to their passion for beauty.”
