Puerto Rican Day, Pulaski Day Parades Held in Philadelphia Sunday

The Puerto Rican Day Parade and the Pulaski Day Parade are both being held Sunday on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.

The Puerto Rican Day Parade was delayed a week this year because of the Papal visit.

The setup for the event will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday. The parade starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, forming between 16th and 18th Streets and the Parkway, heading west around Logan Circle and concluding at 20th Street and the Parkway.

Afterward, a festival is planned at American Street and Lehigh Avenue in North Philadelphia.

The setup for the Pulaski Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. and the parade will start at noon Sunday, forming on the Parkway west of 20th Street and proceeding east around Logan Circle to 16th Street.
