Teacher Gets Prison Time for Teen Sex Romp in Her Minivan

A former teacher at a suburban Philadelphia school district has been sentenced to one to 23 months in prison for having a sexual relationship with one student and having explicit conversations with another.

"Beware: I am a bubble of energy...and I'm contagious!!" is how ex-North Penn High School teacher Heather Lynne Zeo described herself on her Facebook profile at the time the encounters took place last year.

The married mother of three pleaded guilty to misdemeanor corruption of minors charges with the two 11th grade boys in her home room class.

Zeo, 37, was sentenced Thursday in Montgomery County Court in Norristown.

Zeo admitted having sex with the 17-year-old student. The tryst between the Mennonite mom and the student started after Zeo sent a Facebook friend request to the teen. It got physical at school where they first kissed and touched. Then the romance moved from the classroom to Zeo's minivan and from petting to having sex in different parking spots, including a shopping center, according to investigators.

Zeo, a Mennonite from Warrington, also admitted to having sexually explicit conversations with the second student.
