Police in Abington Township Seek Suspects in Wallet Theft at Whole Foods

An unsuspecting Whole Foods shopper in Montgomery County fell victim to a wallet theft by people who police say later racked up more than $4,000 on her credit card.

Abington Police said the victim was shopping at the Whole Foods Market on the Fairway in Jenkintown on June 20 when someone stole her wallet out of her purse.

Police released surveillance video from the store showing a woman they identified as a suspect in the theft, as well as a man and a woman who they believe are accomplices. In the video, the man is seen placing something into one of the female suspect's bags. Police say they believe what he put in her bag was the wallet he just stole from the victim.

Police in Abington Township are asking the public's help to identify this woman, a man and another woman who they say are suspected in stealing a shopper's wallet at the Whole Foods Market in Jenkintown, then using her credit card to buy more than $4,000 worth of merchandise at the Willow Grove Mall Bloomingdale's.

Police said the victim's credit card was used for more than $4,000 in purchases at the Willow Grove Mall Bloomingdale's store a short time after her wallet went missing.
