    Police in Camden, NJ are searching for a man who reportedly impersonated a cop and sexually assaulted on woman on Friday.

    The woman, an admitted prostitute, told police she was in a vehicle with a customer on the 200 block of Sycamore Street when the suspect approached them and said he was a police officer. He asked the customer for identification, then told him to leave. Police say he then assaulted the woman.

    The man was wearing a blue or black button-down shirt with a shield and a patch that said “police.” He also wore blue or black cargo pants, black boots, black gloves and a blue or black baseball-cap that had “police” written above its brim. The suspect had a holster that appeared to have a gun in it, and a yellow walkie-talkie attached to his belt.

    The man is described as black, 35 to 40 years old, with big eyes, a bald head, medium complexion, standing about 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with a clean appearance and physically fit. He spoke in a stern voice and held a black flashlight.
