Police Taser Man Who Says He's God

Warminster man tells officers "I am God" and threatens to kill them: Police

He's accused of breaking down a stranger's front door and threatening police. Officers say the man also calls himself God.

Orlando Fioravanti, 41, was arrested at St. Albert's Circle in Huntingdon Valley on March 14, according to Patch.com.

Witnesses called Lower Moreland Police, after spotting a man they described as "loud and boisterous." Witnesses also told police he had broken through someones door, according to Patch.com.

Officers tell Patch.com that Fioravanti, of Warminster, wouldn't cooperate when they arrived at the scene and he began threatening them. According to the Patch.com article, he allegedly told police, "I am God," and "If you touch me I will kill you."

Officers say they tasered and arrested him. 

Fioravanti is now facing a long list of charges, including burglary, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and making terroristic threats, according to court records.

He was unable to post bail and is currently being held at Montgomery County Prison.

A preliminary hearing is set for March 22.
