Police say Isear Jeffcoat, 7, was dropped off Friday morning at his daycare center on 1234 Rising Sun Avenue. While with daycare workers and other children, investigators say he was taken to a pool on the 6600 block of North 8th Street where he was last seen around 3 p.m.

Police found Isear at the bottom of the backyard pool outside the house on North 8th Street, which belonged to the mother of the owner of the daycare center. Jeffcoat was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing, but authorities don't believe there was foul play.
