Police Seek Help in Identifying Bank Robbers

Bank robbers who hit Delco and Delaware banks caught on camera

Police are hoping members of the public can help indentify two bank robbers who robbed two banks in Wilmington, Del., and attempted to rob a third bank in Delaware County on West Chester Pike.

All of the incidents happened on Friday Oct. 8, police say. The robbery attempt was at the TD Bank at 214 Wilmington West Chester Pike, and the two successful bank robberies occurred in Wilmington, Del., at 2522 Foulk Road and the TD Bank at 1803 Marsh Road, according to police.

The suspects presented a demand note in both robberies and displayed a handgun in the one of the robberies and the attempted robbery, police say.

The two black males were driving a black 1995-2000 two-door Chrysler Sebring with a faded hood, dark tinted windows and a donut tire on the rear driver’s side. They also may be driving a gold 1990s-early 200s Toyota Camry.

If you have any information on these suspects please contact state police at (484) 840-1041.
