Police Search for Suspect in North Philly Store Owner's Murder

Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous

Philadelphia Police have issued an arrest warrant in the murder of a North Philadelphia check cashing store owner.

Police are searching for 32-year-old Eric Locke.

Fifty-three-year-old Joel Blumer, the owner of B & R Check Cashing store on 26th and Sterner Streets in North Philadelphia, was killed Saturday while he was preparing to open up the store for the day.

Blumer, of Southampton, was shot twice in the neck, police said.

Police say Locke lives near the store. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to investigators.

Police also announced a $20,000 reward leading to his arrest.
