Police are on the hunt for a man who they say snatched a woman’s purse at a local subway stop.
It happened last Wednesday around 7:20 p.m. at the Broad and South Street SEPTA Broad Street Line stop. Police say a woman was walking up the northwest stairs when a man came up from behind her and took her purse from off her shoulder. The man then fled on foot through the subway concourse and exited up the northeast stairs, according to investigators.

The suspect is described as a thin, dark skinned black male standing over 6-feet-tall. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a khaki shirt, khaki pants and sneakers.
