Galloway Township Police Search for Stabbing Suspect

Police in Galloway Township are searching for a stabbing suspect after a 22-year-old was found stabbed multiple times in a hotel room Saturday morning.

Galloway Township police are searching for a stabbing suspect after a 22-year-old was found stabbed multiple times in a hotel room Saturday morning.

Police were called to the Travel Lodge on Route 30 at 9:20 a.m . When officers arrived they found the victim, a 22-year-old woman from Massachusetts, stabbed multiple times.

Police say the victim has seven stab wounds in her neck, chest and back.  The woman was taken to Atlanticare Regional Trauma Center.  There is no word on her condition.

Police are searching for J. E. “Johnny” Lozano-Vulgarin, 24, of Brooklyn, NY. Lozano is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

Witnesses reported that Lozano-Vulgarin fled the scene prior to police arrival. Police say he is reportedly driving a silver Ford Escape SUV with NY registration FBB 7793.

Lozano-Vulgarin is described as a Hispanic male, 5’10” thin build with dark hair and dark eyes.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or suspect is asked to call police immediately at 609 -652-3705 ext. 320.

Police declined to comment on the relationship between the victim and suspect.
