Philadelphia Police have found a missing woman with Alzheimer’s.
On Friday, around 4:30 p.m., Emma Ellican, 76, was reported missing from the 5500 block of Westford Road. Investigators say Ellican was last seen around 2:30 p.m. that day.
Ellican recently moved to Philadelphia from the Philippines and speaks little English. She also has Alzheimer’s and has a very short-term memory. Police also say she went missing several times while she lived in the Philippines.
On Saturday, shortly before 5:30 p.m., police announced Ellican was found safe and in good condition at Frankford Hospital.
