Police are searching for a missing teenage girl and her infant son.
Kayla Maven, 16, of Noble Road in Gloucester Township, was reported missing by her mother on Tuesday. Investigators say Kayla left her home sometime after Monday with her 2-month-old son Jeremiah.
Police say Kayla may be in the Vineland, Cumberland County area. She left on foot with her son’s diaper bag and some baby food, according to investigators. Investigators also say Kayla does not have a cell phone. They have not released a description of her clothing when she left.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NJ State Police Missing Person’s Unit and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office were all notified.
