State Police are searching for a missing Delaware boy.

Kyle Mullikin, 12, was last seen Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. near his home on the 3500 block of Wrangle Hill Road in Bear, Delaware. Investigators say he walked into a wooded area behind his house and has not been seen since.

Mullikin’s parents immediately called State Police after the boy did not reemerge from the woods. State Troopers searched the area but could not find him.

Police say Mullikin’s medical condition is such that there is a real concern for his safety. He is described as a white male standing at 4-foot-9 and weighing 70 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light gray/blue zip-up fleece jacket, blue cargo shorts and a white t-shirt.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call 911, Troop 2 at 302-834-2620 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
