New Castle County Police Search for Carjacking Suspect

The 57-year-old victim suffered minor injuries, according to investigators.

New Castle County Police say a 57-year-old woman was injured during a carjacking at an apartment complex Claymont.

It happened at the Bnai Brith House Condominiums located in the 8000 block of Society Drive in Claymont Tuesday evening.

Police say around 7:30 p.m. the suspect carjacked woman and fled the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries, according to investigators.

Police are searching for a gray 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Delaware registration PC20791.

The suspect is approximately 6’02” tall, 300 pounds, with a large build and was wearing a dark colored hat and shirt with white shorts and white shoes.
