A police pursuit on I-95 came to an end after the suspect's car ran out of gas, according to investigators.

Officers arrested 37-year-old Tyree Jackson of Wilmington, Delaware after the chase.

Police tried to pull over Jackson after they say he was speeding along West 4th Street in Wilmington. Authorities say Jackson refused to stop and then continued onto I-95 north.

The chase came to an end when Jackson's 2001 Buick Century ran out of fuel, according to officers.

An investigation showed Jackson had an outstanding warrant and a probation violation.

He was charged with a long list of traffic violations and was taken to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
