Police Officer Injured, Road Closed in Crash

A police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries in this accident in Upper Merion Township.

A police officer and another driver were injured in an early morning crash in Upper Merion Township.

Both were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injures.

Police say a police cruiser was rear-ended with another vehicle. That car then crashed into a nearby guard rail on N. Gulph Road.

N. Gulph Road was closed between Freedom Drive and Guthrie Road.
