Robber Caught on Camera Still on the Loose After 2 Weeks

Police are looking for a robbery suspect whose actions were captured on surveillance cameras at Bing Bing Dim Sum restaurant in South Philadelphia last month.

The suspect approached the restaurant at 1648 E Passyunk Ave. around 3:30 a.m. on June 24 on a dark-colored mountain bike, pried the window open with a metal object and stole $500 in cash, several bottles of liquor and an iPad, according to Philadelphia Police. The suspect spent about six minutes inside the restaurant, according to the footage.

Philadelphia Police described the suspect as being 20 to 30 years old and unshaven. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.
