Police are searching for the man responsible for a rape and robbery in Roxborough.

Philadelphia Police have a suspect in custody for the rape and robbery of a woman in the Roxborough section of the city.

A 46-year-old white male is in custody for allegedly raping and robbing a 32-year-old woman on the 400 block of Seville Street shortly before noon Saturday.

The victim told police she was attacked and raped by a man, who then stole her wallet, cell phone and car keys before fleeing the scene.

Police have not released the suspect's name as he has not yet been formally charged with the crime.
