Mulugeta was rushed to the hospital, where he’s in critical condition. A fellow parking attendant tells NBC10 that Mulugeta is from Ethiopia and that he had only been working at the Locust street lot for about a week. He had previously worked at a different parking lot in the city.

E-Z Parking is offering a $10K reward, being administered by the Citizens Crime Commission.

The surveillance video shows three people -- two women and a man with long dreadlocks -- engaged Mulugeta in conversation. One of the women spent seven minutes inside his booth. The man then attacked Mulugeta with a single blow to the head, according to police. All three left the scene in a cab.

Investigators are not sure of the motive. Initially, witnesses said Mulugeta was robbed, but police say he still had a good amount of cash and his cell phone in his pocket when he was rushed to the hospital. If you have any information that can help police, you can all: 215-686-3093.
