Police Investigate After School Brawl

At least one teen was treated at the hospital for minor injuries

Reading Police are going through surveillance video of a brawl involving as many as 100 teenagers at a city park.

NBC10's Doug Shimell obtained some cellphone video that shows a portion of that fight, that happened Wednesday afternoon.

"We usually don't have bricks and bottles and two by fours involved in these kind of fights.  Mostly it's just fists and wrestling around," said Chief Bill Heim, Reading Police Dept.

Police tell NBC10's Shimell that these fights maybe a continuation of periodic brawls among kids from different parts of Reading.

"We all have to share this area, we all have to go to the same schools, shop at the same places, live on the same blocks. It's a shame people can't get along," said resident David King.
