State police have identified a man who was found shot to death inside a car in Magnolia.
Police say the man was 44-year-old Richard Jacobs Jr. of Dover. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Police are not releasing details about what led to the slaying because they say it might jeopardize the investigation.
Jacobs' body was found late Friday night.
Police say they were called to the Meadowbrook Acres development for a report of shots fired. Jacobs was found dead in the driver's seat of a car. He had been shot multiple times.
