A 16-year-old boy died after he lost control of his dirt bike and was hit by a pickup truck in northwestern Pennsylvania.
State troopers say it happened around 6 p.m. in Glade Township. Investigators say the teen lost control of the bike in the middle of a roadway and was hit head-on by a Chevrolet Avalanche. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the 37-year-old driver of the Avalanche couldn't avoid the bike.
Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.
