A man died after he was shot in the head in South Jersey over the weekend.
Pleasantville Police Capt. Danny Adcock said the man was shot in the head and shoulder Sunday afternoon along Greenfield Avenue and died at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.
Investigators didn't immediately identify the victim.
A witness told the Press of Atlantic City he heard gunshots ring out around 1:45 p.m. and found the victim outside calling out for help.
No arrests were immediately made.
