2 Hurt in Small Plane Crash: Police

State police say two people were treated for injuries after a small plane crashed shortly after takeoff at a rural airport in southern York County.

Trooper Rob Hicks said the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Baublitz Commercial Airport near Brogue, about 50 miles north of Baltimore.

Hicks said the plane hit some utility lines.

The 20-year-old pilot and his passenger, a 61-year-old man, were both taken to York Hospital. Their injuries weren't considered life-threatening.

Neither man was identified. Hicks said the crash is under investigation.

This is the latest small aircraft crash in the region. Back in March a man died when his glider crashed in nearby Lancaster County. And just last month, two men walked away from a smoky plane crash in Hammonton, N.J.
