North Wildwood Police have released a surveillance picture of a man wanted in connection to an attempted sexual assault of a woman last week.
The victim said a man stopped her at about 4 a.m. on Tuesday and asked for directions to 20th Avenue in North Wildwood. Police said the man began walking with her and made sexual advances. The victim tried to walk away, but police said the man grabbed her and attempted to sexually assault her. A passer-by heard the victim scream and yelled out to her, causing the man to run away.
The victim said the man told her his name was "Rob." He was described as a white male in his 40s, between 5'8" and 5'10" with dark hair.
