It's only February but Phillies phever is already getting phans fired up for the return of the boys of summer.
Phillies phans gobbled up single-game tickets after they went on sale to the general public Thursday.
The Phillies sold about 50,000 single tickets alone on Thursday as of 3:30 p.m., according to team officials.
Overall the team has sold about 450,000 single game tickets including presales, group sales and other packages, said the Phils. That doesn't include any of the tickets bought by the 24,000 season ticket holders.
Citizens Bank Park should be bumping this summer considering that team has already sold about 2.4 million tickets to phans wanting to see the World Champions in person.
If you still want to get in on the party the Phils still have 17-game, 14-game and Sunday season ticket packages as well as ticket six packs still available.
