Rapist Took Girl on Her Way to the Playground: Cops

Two men forced a 14-year-old into a car, and then brought her to train tracks where one of the men raped her, police say

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Philadelphia Police are searching for two men who forced a 14-year-old girl into a vehicle, one of whom allegedly raped the girl.

She was walking to a local playground.

According to police, the 14-year-old girl was approached by the two men at Gaul and Letterly streets and forced into a black, square-designed car with red doors between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday July 11.

The two men drove the girl to Richmond Street and Lehigh Avenue, where one of the men forced her out of the car, led her to train tracks near Interstate 95 and raped her there, police say.

The man who raped the girl is described as a black male between 19 and 21 years old, with a thin build and having a beard and mustache, police say.
