Philly Police Officers Involved in Crash

Two Philadelphia Police officers were listed in stable condition after being involved in a crash, according to police public affairs.

The on-duty officers were leaving the police fleet management center when the crash happened. Their police vehicle was sideswiped by a white Honda, according to police.

The driver of the Honda ran a red light, according to police.

The officers were both taken to Temple Hospital -- they appear to have no broken bones or major injuries, according to cops. The names of the officers are not being released until family is notified.

The man driving the Honda was taken to Northeast Hospital with minor injuries. The Honda had Maryland tags and wasn't stolen, said police.

The accident investigation team is investigating to determine the cause and what factors (drugs/alcohol/speeding) may have played a role in the crash.
