Philly Man Found, Search Continues for Missing Pine Hill Man

A missing Philadelphia man has been found while police continue to search for a missing Pine Hill man.

Ronald Gillam, 84, went missing on Tuesday, May 7, around 9 p.m., after leaving his home on the 500 block of East Cheltenham Avenue. Police say Gillam was found safe Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital at 16th and Girard Avenue.

Meanwhile, Pine Hill Police continue to search for another missing man. On May 10, at 8:40 p.m., Pine Hill officers received a missing person report for Wade Woodward, 54. Woodward’s mother told police she last saw him on Wednesday, May 8, around 10 a.m., leaving their home on 158 Diamond Avenue in Pine Hill. The mother says he was wearing a backpack and walking to an unknown destination.

Police say Woodward has several medical conditions, including diabetes, for which he takes insulin shots. They also say all of his medicines and cell phones were left at his home. Local hospitals have been notified of his disappearance.

Police also say Woodward does not drive and often frequents the Walmart in Somerdale and the Shoprite in Blackwood while traveling via NJ Transit.

Woodward is a dark skinned, black male, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 225 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black tee shirt, black Dickie shorts and brown orthotic shoes. He also wearing glasses and a gold rope chain.
