The Philadelphia Union has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Sunoco that includes a way for soccer fans to save money on gasoline.
Financial terms of the sponsorship deal were not disclosed.
Under the partnership, Union fans that shop at Acme Markets can earn up to $1 off per gallon at Sunoco gas stations by signing up for the Gas Rewards program through the free Acme Markets mobile app. Acme is already a corporate partner of the Union. The Sunoco deal also features promotions that will enable fans to save on gas by attending soccer matches at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester.
