A Philadelphia police officer was injured after her car was struck by a suspected drunk driver.
The crash happened about 12:30 a.m. Friday at W. Passyunk Avenue and S. 25th Street in South Philadelphia.
Investigators say the female officer was stopped at a red light when a red sedan side-swiped the right rear of the cruiser.
The officer was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver, a 37-year-old man, was arrested for DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
