Philadelphia Man Wakes Up to Find Robber Pointing Gun in His Face

When a Philadelphia man opened his eyes early Saturday morning, he found himself at the end of a gun barrel.

The man holding the weapon had broken into the 23-year-old victim's rowhome along the 1500 block of W. Thompson Street to swipe electronics, police said.

The home invasion happened at 3 a.m. and the victim was home alone at the time, police said.

The victim told police that the gunman demanded he turn off the Find My iPhone tracking feature on his smartphone and notebook computer. He ran out of the home after hearing the man's roommate come home.

The 23-year-old roommate said the suspect pointed the handgun at him as he ran out the front door. A second suspect came down the stairs right after and did the same before running away, police said.

The robbers got away with the electronics and the victim's wallet.

No one was hurt.
