Philadelphia has confidence issues when it comes to testing out international waters.
That was the takeaway from experts at the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2014 Global PHL event, where international business leaders spoke about the importance of elevating the city’s international profile.
“[Philadelphia is] one of the world’s most diverse, historic and exciting cities, and yet, we remain, at times, one of America’s best-kept secrets,” Mayor Michael Nutter said. “We’re a little shy sometimes and maybe not as outward and outgoing as we should be.” Read full story here
