Philadelphia Fugitive Caught in Traffic Stop

A man wanted on charges of killing two people in a bar in Philadelphia two years ago has been caught after a traffic stop in southern Tennessee.

Bradley County Sheriff's Capt. Steve Lawson told WRCB-TV in Chattanooga deputies aren't sure how long 45-year-old Tyheem Melton has been in the Cleveland, Tennessee area. A deputy arrested Melton Tuesday night when he stopped a rental car for speeding.

Lawson says Melton kept giving detectives names that were not on file. He was arrested after giving a fourth incorrect identity.

Lawson says detectives tracked down his real identity and found the warrant for his arrest in Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia Police issued an arrest warrant for Melton two years ago for the the 2012 shooting deaths of Troy Wimberley and Crystal Shadding at The Corral Bar in West Philly.

Melton is scheduled to go before a Bradley County Judge on Oct. 28.
