Philadelphia Cop Critically Injured by Driver

A driver hit and critically injured an off-duty Philadelphia police officer on a motorcycle on Monday afternoon and then fled the scene, according to investigators.

The 27-year-old officer, whose name has not been released, was struck at Front and Dewey Streets in Cheltenham, Montgomery County just after 3 p.m.

Police found and arrested the driver at another location.

NBC10 crews are on the scene and will continue to update the story.
