Woman Pleads Guilty in AC Expressway Crash That Killed 2, Including 4-Year-Old Boy

A Philadelphia woman has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in a fatal car crash that killed two people last year.

Roselyn Kornegay entered the plea deal on Tuesday in Atlantic County Superior Court.

Authorities said the 47-year-old Kornegay was driving a pickup truck on the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township when she lost control and the truck overturned. Investigators said Kornegay was intoxicated at the time of the June 2014 incident.

The crash killed 35-year-old James Dennis and a 4-year-old boy, who were passengers in the car. Three others were injured.

She faces two concurrent 10-year prison terms -- one for each victim -- when she's sentenced on Dec. 11.
